Global Reset Dialogues
A standing table for North-South deal-making.
What it is
The Global Reset Dialogues are a standing, plurilateral platform under Accra Reset for governments and partners to negotiate practical cooperation. Their foundation at Full Circle is intended to move North-South engagement from broad declarations towards defined files, workable bargains and sustained follow-through.
How the platform works
Political co-stewards serve as executive sponsors. Technical workstreams prepare specific questions for negotiation, connecting principles to responsibilities, implementation and results. The aim is not unanimity on every issue, but arrangements that strengthen sovereign capability and make cooperation useful to all participating sides.
What is on the table
The initial agenda brings together health governance, human capital, trade and industrial partnerships. Maternal and child health provide a practical test of health reform; Masterkey connects skills and opportunity; SIGN strengthens negotiating capability. Future work is envisaged on digital sovereignty, critical minerals and biosecurity.
From dialogue to delivery
The platform is convened from Accra by the Presidential Council. Olusegun Obasanjo and Gordon Brown steward the principles. It is designed to work alongside existing institutions and instruments, not displace them. A credible dialogue should leave an agreed task, responsible parties and a path to delivery. The draft principles of cooperation are issued separately for the next phase.
